PTT’s online course SRD: “Telecoms networks and services” provides a comprehensive introduction to the role, structure and capabilities of modern telecommunications networks and the facilities of telecommunication services offered to residential and business customers.
This interactive course is suitable for technical personnel joining the telecoms sector especially those in an apprenticeship.
The course has recently been revised to include the latest developments affecting telecommunications networks and services. Apart from updated information about topics already covered, new topics include the concept and relevance of “over the top” services, applications of VSAT satellite systems, the future capabilities of 5th Generation mobile systems and the role of the main components of next generation networks.
