learntelecoms e-learning courses have a comprehensive range of interactive training facilities to provide a total learning experience.
Technical words and acronyms have links to an online glossary giving an instant explanation.
Interactive simulations explain concepts and systems operation.
Onscreen question sessions at the end of each module test understanding and provide further guidance and instruction.
Revision links provide quick access to subjects previously discussed and relevant to the module being studied.
Module summaries and notes can be printed or saved for future reference.
Certificates
Print out your own certificate
When you have completed a learntelecoms course you can print out your own certificate of achievement from within the course program. This certificate shows your name, the title of the studied course, a summary of the results of the question sessions, the time spent studying the course, and an awarded grade. This facility is not available on courses accessed on a tablet.
Or order a special signed certificate of achievement
When you order a course you can optionally purchase a copy of your certificate printed on special paper and signed by PTT's Managing Director. This will be posted to you when you complete the course.
Qualification certificates
Upon successful completion of the "PTT Level 3 Award in principles of Telecommunications" or "PTT Level 3 Certificate in Unified Communications" study programmes, a certificate is awarded by NCFE, one of the UK's leading qualification awarding bodies.
Tutor support
PTT's learntelecoms e-learning courses are designed to be standalone. They provide all the information you need to achieve a course's stated learning objectives without the need for printed materials. However, it is re-assuring to know that you can, if required, have one-to-one contact with a subject expert to answer any questions that may arise when you are studying a course.
Online tutor support is provided with our study programmes including the "PTT Level 3 Award in Principles of Telecommunications", "PTT Level 3 Certificate in Unified Communications" and “Ethernet/IP networks” programmes.
With the online tutor support facility, a subject expert will answer your questions about the content of the courses in the programme for the duration of the licence period. Your tutor will respond within 48 hours of receiving a question.
PTT's Learning Management System (LMS) will allow you to post your questions and read the tutor's replies.
